The Ash Street Proposal

I would like to make a special thanks to all of you that came out and shared my special moment back on Aug 8th at the Ash Street Saloon gig. Sammy here of Q.N. You see I proposed to my girlfriend Eden, the hot red head, while on stage in front of a large crowd.

I had sent her a text message one morning touching on the subject but not really getting to the point, simply testing the water. Pointless in hindsight, to the comment "so when we gettin married" that had been persued by Eden several times in the weeks before. Earlier that week Eden had made it quite clear that if I were to propose, e-mail or text message was not the way to go about it. Being me, a big spectacle was my only option. With the Ash Street show only two weeks away, I set upon two of my most trusted friends

Michael and Brew to spread the tale of my master plan to as many as could be told, Eden not to be in the know. The rest of the guys in the band were open to just about anything and agreed to give me part of the bridge of our Al Green inspired "Fade" to pop the question. I did just that, in front of most of our friends, family and staff of the Ash street. Eden later told me that her first thoughts in the moments that I stepped up to the mic were: "are they going to let him sing? oh wait a minute... he's not going to ask me here, now..........he is?!?". And then with all eyes on her and hot sensual Al Green inspired music playing in the background she said "YES". It went off perfectly.

Later the next day I let her pick out the ring, and she got exactly what she wanted. So did I.
Thanks Again to all who were there.

Saturday at the Wildwood Hotel. Big thanks!!

We had an unbelievable time Saturday at the Wildwood Hotel in Willamina. We would like to thank the Hotel for having us out there. Your hospitality and kindness made us feel right at home. We would also like to thank the very talented Steven Franssen for coming out and treating us all with a great set while battling the tail end of a cold. That's so rock and roll brother!!

But in closing, we MUST give special thanks to the wonderful people that came out to see us play. You were all incredible with your dancing and interaction with us, and those elements are what makes certain gigs special and memorable. We threw everything but the kitchen sink at you by playing our 10 originals, 4 "arranged" covers, and we even threw a handful of non arranged, off the cuff tunes and you loved them all. We had a GREAT time, and we look forward to playing for you all again!!

Take Care,
